Pricing FAQ
Common questions about billing, limits, and cancellation.
Yes. You can cancel at any time from your billing page, and your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period — no immediate cutoff and no early-termination fees. After that date your team rolls back to the Free plan automatically, and your data stays where it is (we never delete user data as a consequence of a billing event).
One DMARC aggregate XML file from one reporter (Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, Mail.ru, etc.) counts as one report. The big mailbox providers each send roughly one aggregate per day per domain they see mail from, so a single active domain typically lands between 30 and 150 reports per month from the major reporters combined.
Concrete example: if you monitor 3 domains and Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo each send a daily report, that's roughly 3 × 3 × 30 ≈ 270 reports/month — above Free's 100 cap but well inside Personal's 1,000. Free's 100 reports/month comfortably covers one moderately active domain. Envelopes we receive but fail to classify as DMARC reports (spam, mis-routed mail) do not count toward your cap.
Yes — Sendvery supports two ingestion paths and you pick whichever fits your setup:
- If you want zero DNS changes and a local copy of every report in a mailbox you already trust: connect your existing IMAP or Gmail / Outlook mailbox via OAuth and Sendvery pulls reports out of it on a 15-minute schedule. Nothing changes in your DNS.
- If you'd rather not run a mailbox at all: point your DMARC
rua=tag atrua=mailto:reports@sendvery.comin your DNS TXT record and we ingest centrally — no inbox to maintain on your side.
Both paths are available on every plan including Free, and you can use a different path per domain. How ingestion works →
We don't offer self-serve refunds. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then. If something has clearly gone wrong (you were double-billed, charged after cancellation, or you bought the wrong plan by mistake), email jan.mikes@sendvery.com and we'll sort it out manually.
Yes — upgrade or downgrade from your billing page anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated against your current period. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal, so you keep the higher tier's features until then. If a downgrade would put you over a smaller plan's limits (e.g. more domains than the new cap allows), we freeze the excess rather than deleting it — you choose what stays active after the change.
We freeze ingestion at the cap — we never delete your data. If you cross your monthly report cap, additional envelopes are quarantined instead of parsed; if you hit your domain cap, new domains can't be added until you upgrade or remove an existing one. Everything that's already in your account stays put. Upgrade and the frozen data becomes available again.
Yes — annual billing is exactly two months free. The math is clean: you pay ten months and get twelve. That's $12/yr off Personal ($4.99/mo vs $5.99/mo), $48/yr off Pro ($19.99/mo vs $23.99/mo), and $120/yr off Business ($49.99/mo vs $59.99/mo). Switch between monthly and annual anytime from billing.
There's no separate trial because the Free plan is permanent. One domain, 100 reports a month, 30-day retention — no credit card, no time limit. You can run a real domain on Free for as long as you like and upgrade only when you actually need more. Self-hosting is also free forever (AGPL-3.0).
All major credit and debit cards via Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and the usual long tail). Apple Pay and Google Pay work wherever Stripe supports them on your browser/device. We don't offer manual invoicing or bank transfer on self-serve plans — if you need that for procurement reasons, talk to us about Enterprise.
Not currently. Sendvery is operated by a Czech sole-trader (OSVČ) below the CZ VAT threshold, so advertised prices are flat and tax-inclusive — what you see is what you pay. If we cross the threshold or expand commercial operations into wider EU B2C, we'll enable Stripe Tax and break VAT out on receipts at that point. No code or plan change needed on your side when that happens.
Sendvery is open source under the AGPL-3.0 license. You can clone the repo, run it on your own infrastructure, and use every feature — including AI Insights if you bring your own Anthropic API key — without paying us a cent. The hosted plans sell managed infrastructure (servers, backups, updates, monitoring, the AI key, support), not the software itself. If self-hosting is a better fit for your team, that's genuinely OK with us.
AI Insights is Claude-backed analysis layered on top of your DMARC data — a weekly plain-English digest, on-demand summaries of failing senders, and recommended next actions. Quotas scale with the plan: 50 on-demand calls/month on Personal, 200 on Pro, 500 on Business. The feature is in the final stages of rollout and will appear automatically in your dashboard once it's enabled for your account; until then, paid plans run without it and the option is reserved on every paid tier. Free-plan users curious about AI can reach out to us directly.
The sender inventory is the list of every IP address and SMTP host that has ever sent mail using your domain — your own mail server, your CRM, your newsletter platform, your billing provider, and anything pretending to be you. For each sender Sendvery tracks pass rate, volume, and a recommended authorize / revoke / keep watching decision so you can quickly distinguish legitimate services from spoofers. You manage all of this on the /app/domains/{id}/senders page inside the dashboard.
Blacklist monitoring continuously checks every IP address that sends mail on your domain's behalf against the major DNS-based block lists (Spamhaus, Barracuda, SORBS, and dozens more). If one of your sending IPs gets listed — usually the first warning sign of a deliverability problem — Sendvery raises an alert and tells you which list, when it happened, and which sender it's linked to, so you can fix the underlying issue before mailbox providers start rejecting your mail.
White-label PDF lets you export your monthly aggregate reports as branded PDFs carrying your company logo, colors, and footer — not Sendvery's. It's the deliverable agencies and MSPs hand to their clients to show "here's your email health this month", and it's the report a security or compliance team archives alongside SOC 2 / ISO evidence. Available on the Business plan; sample available on request.
